Battle Strategies
- Mohg's Shackle (from Subterranean Shunning-Grounds) stuns him twice in Phase 1
- The Purifying Crystal Tear (from Yura's questline) negates his phase transition curse
- Without the tear, his Nihil chant deals massive unavoidable damage three times
- Phase 2: he spreads Bloodflame everywhere — stay mobile and don't stand in fire
- Bleed works in Phase 1 but he becomes more resistant in Phase 2
- Use the shackle + crystal tear combo to massively reduce fight difficulty

Best Builds for Mohg, Lord of Blood
These builds exploit Mohg, Lord of Blood's weaknesses and match the fight's demands.
Transient Moonlight can punish Mohg's slow swings from safe range. Magic damage is neutral and the stagger helps.
Physical damage is Mohg's real weakness. Jump attacks stagger him reliably, and the Purifying Tear handles his phase transition.
Bleed works well in Phase 1 (use with shackle for huge damage). Phase 2 requires switching to Corpse Piler's raw damage over bleed.
Ranged sorceries let you avoid the Bloodflame pools in Phase 2. Rock Sling's poise damage staggers him reliably.
Builds to Avoid Against Mohg, Lord of Blood
