Battle Strategies
- This is the DLC final boss — collect maximum Scadutree Fragments before attempting
- Phase 1 is gravity-enhanced Radahn — faster and more aggressive than the base game version
- Phase 2 introduces Miquella's holy attacks on top of Radahn's gravity moves
- The holy tracking orbs in Phase 2 must be sprint-dodged in a circle
- His grab in Phase 2 is an instant kill at most vigor levels — learn the tell
- Frost is the best element: works on both phases and debuffs his absorption
- This is widely considered the hardest boss in Elden Ring — patience is mandatory

Best Builds for Promised Consort Radahn
These builds exploit Promised Consort Radahn's weaknesses and match the fight's demands.
Frost is the ideal element here. The absorption debuff is critical against his massive HP pool, and ranged frost sorceries help with Phase 2's aggression.
Transient Moonlight can punish both phases' recovery windows. Magic is neutral and the weapon's speed matches the fight's tempo.
Bleed chunks through his enormous HP pool. Corpse Piler's multi-hit nature procs hemorrhage frequently despite his resistance.
Physical damage with stagger potential. Jump attacks can interrupt some of his more dangerous combo starters.
Builds to Avoid Against Promised Consort Radahn
These archetypes struggle in this fight. Consider respeccing if you're stuck.
Holy damage is strongly resisted. Wave of Gold is nearly useless against the DLC final boss.
Fire is resisted in both phases. The weapon's primary damage type is significantly weakened.
Fire breath is resisted, long cast times are punished by his speed, and the fight's intensity doesn't allow for slow incantation builds.
