Mohg is a DPS race — his Nihil phase transition deals massive unavoidable damage unless you use the Purifying Crystal Tear. With that handled, these builds exploit his weaknesses effectively.
Recommended Builds
#1: Moonveil Magic
Magic damage is neutral and Transient Moonlight punishes Mohg's slow recovery animations.
Why it works: Mohg has long recovery windows after his trident sweeps. Transient Moonlight's speed lets you consistently punish these windows while the stagger builds toward a critical.
#2: Giant Crusher
Physical damage is Mohg's real weakness. Jump attacks stagger him quickly for devastating critical hits.
Why it works: With Mohg's Shackle stunning him twice in Phase 1 and the Purifying Crystal Tear handling Nihil, physical damage builds can burst him down. Jump R2 staggers in 3-4 hits.
#3: Rivers of Blood
Bleed works well in Phase 1, and combined with Mohg's Shackle, you can nearly skip to Phase 2.
Why it works: Use both Shackle charges + Corpse Piler spam in Phase 1 to take off most of his HP. Drink Physick with Purifying Tear before he starts Nihil. Phase 2 requires shifting to raw damage as his bleed resistance increases.
