#1: Giant Crusher
Jump attacks to Astel's head deal massive bonus damage and stagger quickly.
Why it works: Astel takes significantly more damage when hit in the head. Jump R2 with Giant-Crusher reaches the head hitbox and does enormous poise damage, staggering him for a critical in just a few hits.
#2: Rivers of Blood
Bleed works well and Corpse Piler reaches the head from beneath Astel's body.
Why it works: Position under Astel and aim Corpse Piler upward at the head. The multi-hit skill builds bleed rapidly while targeting the head damage multiplier for a double bonus.
#3: Dual Katana
Fast powerstanced attacks to the head proc bleed quickly. The head hitbox is generous for L1 attacks.
Why it works: Running L1 attacks naturally arc upward and hit Astel's head when standing beneath him. The rapid hit count builds bleed fast while exploiting the head multiplier.
